Flood Appreciation & Relief Events

I wanted to share the following announcements with everyone:

First, "A Flood of Appreciation" which is an afternoon reception honoring all of the "neighbors helping neighbors" following the Fairfax flood. The event takes place this Sunday, January 22nd from 2:00 - 4: 40 p.m. in the Women's Club on Park Road. Fairfax musicians will be performing and light refreshments will be served. Rose Tabor is organizing this event.

Secondly, "Fairfax Flood Relief," a benefit for local merchants, will be held on Saturday, January 28th from 6:00 - 11:00 p.m. at the Fairfax Pavilion. A donation is being requested, sliding scale. The event will feature live music, a raffle and silent auction, community activities, and food, beer and wine will be available. The event is being sponsored by the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, Fairfax Parks and Recreation Commission and the Fairfax Volunteers.
